Facility and Council Partners
Alexandrina Council has a long-standing connection with GSSC through the Strathalbyn Swimming Pool and the Club’s history in Strathalbyn.
Council support has included access to the Strathalbyn pool, previous grant funding and support for community access arrangements that help keep Club swimming affordable and sustainable. Through the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre Joint Venture, Alexandrina Council also contributes to arrangements that support GSSC’s access to its primary year round training venue.
The City of Victor Harbor supports GSSC through the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre Joint Venture and its role in enabling affordable community access to the Club’s primary year-round training venue.
BlueFit manages the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre and works closely with GSSC to support our day-to-day training and Club activities.
A strong relationship with the facility team is critical to the Club’s success. BlueFit works with our coaches and Committee around pool access, training arrangement, events and the practical things that help swimming run smoothly each week.
We value having a facility operator that understands the role of a community swimming club and is willing to work collaboratively with us to support swimmers and families.
Donors
Amanzi supports GSSC through product donations and member discounts, helping with fundraising activities while also giving swimmers access to discounted swimwear and equipment.
Funkita supports GSSC through product donations and member discounts, contributing to Club raffles and activities while helping swimmers access quality swimwear and training products at reduced cost.
Arena supports GSSC through product donations used for raffles, prizes and Club activities, helping us raise funds and add value to events for swimmers and families.
