HOW TO JOIN GSSC
Ready to become part of GSSC?
Once you’ve completed a Come & Try and we’ve confirmed that GSSC is the right fit, we’ll help you get everything in place for regular training and Club membership.
There are a few steps beyond simply purchasing a membership. We’ll guide you through them.
GETTING SET UP
1. CONFIRM YOUR TRAINING
We’ll confirm your swimmer’s current development level and the training sessions most appropriate for them.
We’ll also explain any training expectations that apply at their level, including recommended attendance and competition opportunities.
2. REGISTER THROUGH SWIM CENTRAL
All GSSC swimmers must hold the appropriate membership through Swim Central.
For swimmers under 18, the required parent or guardian membership must also be completed.
We have a step-by-step guide to help you through the registration process.

3. ARRANGE YOUR CLUB TRAINING FEES
GSSC training fees are paid directly to the Club, separately from Swim Central membership and pool entry.
We’ll confirm the applicable fee and arrange a payment option that works for your family. Eligible children can use a South Australian Sports Voucher towards GSSC training fees.

EXPLORE TRAINING AT GSSC
ONCE YOU’RE A MEMBER
Joining GSSC means becoming part of a community sporting club, not simply enrolling in a training program.
Swimmers are encouraged to train consistently, engage positively with their coaches, support their teammates and take part in competition appropriate to their stage of development.
Families play an important role too - supporting swimmers, helping at competitions and Club activities, and contributing to the volunteer effort that makes community swimming possible.
